A Gallery of Vintage Lightning Bolt Surf Memorabilia

A fiberglass plaque featuring an assortment of Lightning Bolt laminates used in surfboard production by Hobie Surfboards - the official Lightning Bolt licensee in California.

This plaque was made by Dan Brawner, an accomplished Southern California glasser who glassed many Lopez Model Bolt boards that came out of the Hobie shop.

Brawner became an expert at signing Lopez's name in his glasswork; as an artform rather than a forgery.
